Tuesday, February 11, 2014

Nadine Franklin, Theater faculty and resident director at Kishwaukee College, has announced audition dates for the College's spring production of Love Minus by Mary Gallagher. The auditions will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, February 26 and 27, at 7:00 p.m. in the Kishwaukee College Theater (B1205). Copies of the script are on reserve at the Kishwaukee College Library. Franklin requires anyone interested in auditioning for one of the roles (two women, two men) available in the play read the script prior to auditioning.

The Kishwaukee College production of Love Minus will be staged Wednesday through Saturday, April 23 -26 in the Kishwaukee College Theater with a curtain time of 7:30 p.m.

Love Minus is a romantic comedy that follows four young professionals in New York City: Karla, Lydia, Nick, and Alan. Chance encounters and witty dialogue illustrate the varied views of love, romance and sex in contemporary relationships. Gallagher's cleverly constructed scenes move the plot along at a bright pace with all four characters ending up wiser because of their experiences.
