Continuing Education courses focus on lifelong learning with diverse education programs that meet the needs of our local communities. We offer professional development courses and non-credit certificate programs.
Fitness-Bodies in Motion
Students will enjoy the "fitness made fun" atmosphere while listening to music from the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's. The class includes chair exercises and activities that may improve eye, hand and foot coordination as well as balance, flexibility range of motion and energy. Must be at least age 60 to register for $25. The non-senior rate is $75.

Fitness-The Complete Workout
This class is for adults of all ages who want to get in shape and/or stay fit. Classes will include stretching, strength training and cardio workouts. Students will work at their own pace and will need to bring hand weights (3-5 pounds), an exercise mat and water. Please bring a large exercise ball if you have one. Wear comfortable clothes and gym shoes. Must be at least age 60 to register for $25. The non-senior rate is $75. NEW TIME!

This class is designed for certification, as well as recertification, to cover the role of healthcare providers who respond to cardiovascular and respiratory emergencies. Proper CPR skills, the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), relieving foreign body airway obstructions, and using a bag mask will be presented. A certification card and equipment rental fees are included in the course fee. The required manual, Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Manual, American Heart Association ISBN: 978-1-61669-407-4 is available at the College bookstore for $17. Students are required to bring this manual to class. Wear comfortable clothing. To be certified, no part of this class can be missed. Cost of the class is $55.

This class is designed to provide lay rescuers when to phone 911, how to give CPR, how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator), and how to provide relief of choking. Adult and
